National Emergency Briefing follow-up

Following our showing of the National Emergency Briefing (NEB) film on 20 May, which examined climate and nature risks and clear solutions, the Society’s Sustainable Living Group invites you to take up the call to action for World Environment Day. 

World Environment Day is held each year on June 5. It was established by the United Nations (UN) to raise worldwide awareness of the environment and drive action. This year the focus is on climate change, with the theme “Inspired by Nature. For Climate. For Our Future.”

Write to your MP and Local Councillors to push for a public broadcast of the film as a matter of urgency. People in the UK cannot respond to a crisis they have not been informed about.
