The Society successfully applied for the listing of the Theatre as an Asset of Community Value, inhibiting any change of use. We are therefore disturbed that an application for a licence by the owners of the Gatehouse pub to open a bar in part of the theatre area has specified no conditions to ensure the first floor bar will not interfere with the operation of the theatre.
It looks like emergency access is being provided to the rear of 36A Highgate High Street, which has been part of our long running campaign. Seven Capital are arranging a further and final round of community consultations. They will be holding an exhibition preview for nearby residents on Monday 5th June 6pm – 8pm at the Archway Methodist Church and subsequently, on the 6th June, there will be a wider public exhibition at the same venue from 3.30pm – 7.30pm.
