More bus route changes proposed: Update

Update: The changes listed below will not proceed. Routes 4, 24, 88, 205 and 214 will remain unchanged (TfL press release 23 November 2022) To see the full statement click here.

Transport for London is consulting on more bus route changes, some of which will affect Highgate. The 4 from Archway to Blackfriars and the 24 from Hampstead Heath to Pimlico would be scrapped. The 88 would start in Hampstead instead of Parliament Hill Fields to replace the 24. The 214 would follow its  existing route to Camden Town and then run the 88 route south of Camden Town. The 205 (which currently starts in Paddington) would run from Parliament Hill Fields to Mile End via Camden Town, Kings Cross and Liverpool Street.
