Highgate High Street and Highgate Hill

With Highgate High Street and Highgate Hill forming a borough boundary, responsibilities for it are unclear, and we were distressed to discover that Camden and Haringey have held no meetings in the last 3 years to discuss issues such as potential CCTV, crime prevention measures, road safety, speed control, traffic calming, pedestrian crossings, junctions and road layout. The communications gap may be even longer than 3 years. 

We understand that it’s harder when boroughs have to work together, and so we organised a joint walkabout for the end of February with Councillors from both Haringey and Camden. For topics discussed, please see here.
