Shepherd’s Cottage is a hidden treasure in Highgate located in the village backlands. The cottage and its historic setting are threatened by a proposed development which will block heritage views and emergency access. The local community have come together to challenge these plans and to preserve the cottage in its setting for future generations

A full year-long programme of community celebrations to mark the 150th anniversary of the Hampstead Heath Act has been unveiled by the City Corporation.
A highlight of the programme includes an outdoor exhibition on the Heath to showcase the site’s history and the significance of the 1871 Act. For the full programme click More

Highgate School Museum on Southwood Lane is currently closed, but that does not mean you can’t step inside the history of Highgate School and enjoy the wonderful artefacts, displays and artworks that are part of its blueprint. While our Tidy up Events would still be permitted under Government guidance, in light of the Mayor of London’s recent announcement of a Major Incident, we are reluctantly cancelling the next Tidy up Event on Saturday 16 January. Thank you to all those who had said they would be able to attend and watch this space for our February event.
