Archway Campus: Update & How You Can Help
Following the Mayor of London’s decision to “call in” the highly controversial Archway Campus redevelopment, the Greater London Authority (GLA) has confirmed that it expects the applicant to submit further information on the proposals. Any new material will be released for public consultation.
Because of this additional stage, no date has yet been set for the GLA public hearing, which is now unlikely to take place before February 2026.
Strengthening Our Case
The Highgate Society, working in partnership with local Archway groups and residents, has taken an important step in preparing for the hearing. We recently held a very positive first meeting with the specialist planning barrister appointed to advise the community. Their expert guidance will be essential in ensuring that our written and oral submissions are as clear, focused, and persuasive as possible – particularly as objectors are given very limited time to speak at the hearing.
How You Can Support the Campaign
To maintain access to this crucial legal expertise throughout the process, we need to continue raising funds. If you care about the future of the Archway Campus site and want to help the community present the strongest possible case, please consider donating: www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/save-archway-campus
