From Ronan Point to Grenville Tower, high-rise buildings have failed, and yet, there are over 400 high-rise projects in the pipeline in London waiting to be built. Will this make London a better place, and did it have to be this way? Successful alternatives have been built, but not followed up. How did we get here?
