Further Breaches but Haringey Fails to Act
Despite continuing breaches of site regulations and the failure to overcome the fire access issue, Haringey allowed the developers of Townsend Yard to begin pile-driving work adjacent to Shepherd’s Cottage.
The Highgate Society has written to Haringey and to the building regulation consultant who is contracted to ensure compliance with all building and safety regulations, but still the Council refuses to intervene and stop the works so that a solution can be found and Fire Brigade access to Shepherd’s Cottage protected.
