Proposed constituency boundary changes

The Boundary Commission for England is proposing changes to the constituency boundaries affecting Highgate. For details of the changes go to https://boundarycommissionforengland.independent.gov.uk/2023-review/ 

The Highgate Society has made a submission which presents the reasons why Highgate is a single community and should be in one constituency. We consider the borough and constituency boundary running down Highgate High Street is an artificial division and that the two sides should be unified within a single constituency (and eventually a single borough). Highgate, centred on the High Street has been a village since the 14th century. We are a single community with a vibrant community life, one neighbourhood plan and a single N6 postcode.
