Saturday 11th September 2021
2.00 pm to 4.00 pm

Do you know the origin of the name of Highgate? What is the oldest building and what famous people lived (and died) here? Where did the King’s mistress live and what happened to the Highgate ponds? And why should we be known as Highgate Regis? All these and other fascinating facts (and gossip) will be revealed on Ruth Hazeldine’s Historic Walk.
The walk is limited to 20 participants only. It will start outside the Highgate Society hall at 10A South Grove N6 6BS, and finish outside The Red Lion and Sun on North Hill, where everyone is invited to join for refreshments (not included in the price).
£7.50 per person. Proceeds go to the Highgate Society.
