HGO is North London’s leading opera company and has been performing in Highgate for many years.  Yet some people still know very little about it.  Roger Sainsbury, a former chairman of the company, will recount how, over thirty years, what began as an evening class for amateurs has become a widely respected company, performing to high standards and playing a key role in the development of young artists.
