Events
Saturday Morning Coffee takes place every week offering the opportunity to meet friends or attend our Planning Surgery. We hold fascinating Talks and Walks on architectural and other topics of local interest usually monthly, there are Sunday Lunchtime Concerts around five times a year and you can meet Highgate neighbours at our evening Social Events three times a year and on other occasions. Music in Highgate Homes is an exclusive, usually once a year. Then there are the annual events. Carols in Pond Square raises money for local charities, attracting an audience of well over 1,000 to join in the community singing. The Halloween Walk is another chance to bring the children, and you can test your knowledge at the Merry Mug Quiz, usually in April. Come to our AGM in May to hear a guest speaker, understand what we’ve been doing and vote on our management team. We organise the annual Highgate Volunteer Fair and are also major sponsors of the Fair in the Square in June.
For active participation in the open air join our monthly Tidy Up events and Guerrilla Gardening teams. There are also our special occasion events such as the showing of the Queen’s Funeral and the Coronation.
Finally we sometimes hold Public Meetings on topics of community interest and concern.
