Georgina McGivern from the Camden clean air initiative and Dmytro Chupryna from Airlabs talking about the installation of 250 of the WORLD’S FIRST highly dense air quality sensors: Airnode across the borough. 100x more spatial resolution, refreshing 60x more regularly than existing monitors – mapping the issue in real time.
Haringey and Islington have expressed interest in this vital initiative, as the health risks of high pollution levels are extreme:
– Thousands of people die in London every year
– There are safer, cleaner routes we could all be taking
– New policies based on information from the sensors will be developed
