Highgate Newtown, Bertram St. redevelopment

The Community centre and housing development on the Highgate Newtown Community Centre Bertram Street site is advancing, with outlines of the new buildings taking shape. A wide range of activities offering vital support to the community are now provided in partnership with a range of local organisations and funders. The community centre will return to the site once the work is complete, but some activities, especially those currently being run from local churches, are expected to remain as satellite operations where this means they can be closer to the people they serve. To reflect the structural changes coming about the HNCC has announced that it is changing its name to Highgate Newtown Community Partners.
