Can you write a limerick?

To accompany Ruth Hazeldine’s recent talk on The Lure and Lore of the Limerick, there is a competition for original limericks on the subject of  ‘Highgate and Highgate personalities’ or the current Covid-related situation (‘and’, says Ruth, ‘keep it clean!). Prizes will be awarded for the three best entries. The closing date is December 31st. Entries  should be submitted by email to highgateevents@gmail.com and include a contact email address or phone number.
