Children’s Bank Holiday Picnic

Bank Holiday Monday 25 May 2026, 11am to 2pm, Waterlow Park

The Younger Highgaters team warmly invites you and your family to this relaxed children’s picnic. Join us in the grassy area next to the Waterlow Park tennis courts, nearest to the top of Swain’s Lane and Bisham Gardens, for a laid-back morning of picnicking, playing, and meeting other local families. Look out for our volunteers in orange gilets.

Bring a blanket, snacks, games, books, or a favourite “show and tell” treasure. Children are invited to set up blanket stalls and to showcase their talent to their neighbours. This is a free drop-in event with no booking required. Children should be accompanied by an adult, and we kindly ask that adults come along with a child.
